Putting My Experience
to Work
As a seasoned school administrator and mother of two current D205 students, I bring a unique and valuable lens to the work of Elmhurst Community Unit District 205 Board of Education. Having ample experience in implementing effective school change that focuses on meeting student needs while tackling the variety of challenges presented in public education today. I feel my work on the school board over the last 4 years has had a positive impact on D205 and more importantly, the children growing up in our community.

My professional experience and the knowledge gained during my first term on the school board is more important now than ever as we continue to work vigorously to improve student learning outcomes and move towards accomplishing the goals of our current strategic plan. During my tenure as an educator and the current President of the Elmhurst CUSD205 School Board, one essential principle remains at the core of my work: staying focused on what is best for students in all aspects of decision-making.
